Symbolon Group, LLC was formed in 2009 by the president of the company, Gary Fleming. With over 20 years experience in industries such as consumer packaged goods, grocery retail, foodservice, convenience stores, alcohol and beverage, paper, technology, standards, consulting, produce and other fresh foods sectors, Gary has been at the forefront of key industry initiatives seeking best practices around supply chain efficiencies.
The word “symbolon” is used in the Greek text to refer to a piece of shard (typically potshard), that when united to its other parts become whole. The vision of Symbolon Group is to help companies become whole, become efficient, by identifying the gaps that are minimizing the effectiveness of their existing practices and/or processes. A lot can and should be learned from the experience of other industries, other sectors, other companies, other individuals. Symbolon Group uses these experiences to identify methods and solutions that can be deployed in your business or within your industry… methods and solutions that have been tried and tested.
